宇治の山奥には、今もなお静かな息づかいが感じられます。忘れ去られつつある一角ではありますが、かつて人々が​お茶を育んで​いた確かな痕跡が、この地には残されています。ここは、茶と人、そして山々の生態系がしなやかに調和しながら共存していた、大切な​お茶の産地でした。​京都研究所では、「伝統素材の今」をテーマに、研究と実践を日々積み重ねています。しかしながら、茶山の再生という​い​一大プロジェクトは、小さなチームだけでは成し遂げることができません。山の開拓や茶の活用に関心を持つ仲間を募集しています。

In the deep mountains of Kyoto, a quiet pulse can still be felt. Though this corner may seem on the verge of being forgotten, it holds clear traces of a time when people carefully cultivated tea. This was once an important tea-producing region. A community where tea, people, and the local ecosystem gracefully coexisted. Calling all who share an interest in revitalizing the mountains and exploring new possibilities for tea.

What to Expect

Expect hands-on fun, supportive staff, and a mix of structured activities and open play. This is a space where campers can move, make, imagine, and grow.

Sample Schedule

  • Campers ease into the day with light games, creative prompts, and a welcome circle to set the tone.

  • Guided outdoor activities and free play to stretch, move, and soak up some fresh air.

  • Campers will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks daily.

  • Hands-on time to explore the daily theme—whether it’s art, building, storytelling, or movement.

  • We'll end the day with a closing circle before campers head home for the evening.

Where to Find Us

Shuttle transportation is available to and from camp. Participants can be picked up near the York Street Subway Station on the F subway line. Subway access to the F, G, A, C, 2, 3 and B67.
